Dr. Bushra Hameedur Rahman is an esteemed academician with a strong background in Mass Communication. She has held leadership roles and contributed significantly to scholarly discourse in the field. Her research focuses on critical analysis of mass media discourses and their impact on societal unity and division, with a particular emphasis on Orientalism, Feminism, and Muslim feminism. Her leadership extends to various academic and editorial positions.

Dr. Zeeshan Zaigham is an Assistant Professor with a PhD in Media & Mass Communication. He specializes in Strategic Communication & Fifth-Generation Hybrid Warfare and has extensive experience in teaching and research. He has supervised numerous research projects and workshops in strategic communication, media, and digital media, contributing significantly to the field of communication studies.

Werdah Munib is a dedicated Assistant Professor with a strong background in Mass Communication. She has years of experience in academia, research, and community engagement. Her commitment to academic excellence is evident through her teaching, research supervision, and participation in scholarly events.

Haris Badar is an Assistant Professor with a strong background in international journalism and finance. He has worked as a journalist, financial analyst, and educator, bringing a diverse skill set to academia. He has contributed significantly to media education and has experience in teaching at various universities, showcasing his commitment to education and research in media studies.

Funded by the prestigious Exeter International Excellence Scholarship, Qaisar Abbas did his PhD at the Department of Communication, Drama and Film, University of Exeter. He was the Commonwealth Scholar at Goldsmiths, University of London, and was awarded with Distinction for his MA in Applied Anthropology and Community Development. He took training in Acting at Utrecht School of the Arts (HKU) under the Erasmus Exchange Program. He has published articles in New Theatre Quarterly (2024), THAAP journals (2016 and 2017), and a chapter in From Tsiam to the Hindu Kush: Kalasha People and their Culture (THAAP and UNESCO, 2019). His extensive practice-based work with the folk performers of Punjab - including storytellers, actors, theatre makers, dancers, and musicians - contributed to UNESCO’s study on the promotion of ICH into the school curriculum in the Asia-Pacific region. He has also presented his work at various national and international conferences. He is currently working on his first monograph The Neo-liberalization of Political Theatre in Punjab (Pakistan) to be published by Routledge. Recently, he received a research grant award from the Association of Asian Studies (AAS) for his project Theatre of Colonial Lahore (1900-1947).

Nasir Ali Mazari is an Assistant Professor with extensive experience in film & television production and academia. He has a strong educational background and practical experience in documentary filmmaking, voice artistry, and directing. His contributions to film education and research showcase his commitment to media studies and creative storytelling.

Muhammad Naveed Aasim is a senior lecturer and immersive media expert with over 15 years of industry experience and 6+ years of academic expertise. As Head of BNU Connect and the BS Communication & Immersive Media program at Beaconhouse National University, he has fostered a collaborative learning environment. Holding an MSc in Digital Visual Effects from the University of Kent, UK, and an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Naveed is dedicated to bridging the gap between academia and industry. His innovative teaching methods and open-door policy encourage students to seek career advice and technical support, fostering their growth beyond the classroom. Through BNU Connect, Naveed has promoted interdisciplinary collaboration, shaping future leaders in media and creative industries. He has also contributed to the development of Graphic Design (Grades 9-12) curriculum standards for the national curriculum in Pakistan, helping to uplift education quality across the country.

Mr. Usman Rana is a music producer and educator with expertise in sound design and music production. He brings practical experience and industry insights to his role as a Lecturer at BNU.

Mr. Sarmad Ibrahim Cheema is a seasoned professional with a strong background in directing film & television. He brings valuable industry experience to his role as a Senior Lecturer at BNU.
