Assistant Manager – Student Affairs

Beaconhouse National University (BNU) is seeking a dynamic and responsible professional to join its Student Affairs team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Facilitate orientation and guidance services for new students.
  • Address student grievances and coordinate with Transport, Cafeteria, Hostels and Administration for timely resolution.
  • Support the planning and execution of student activities, clubs, sports, career fairs, alumni engagements and major university events.
  • Facilitate student complaints concerning alleged harassment in accordance with University policies.
  • Provide administrative oversight of sports activities and maintain departmental and event budgets.
  • Coordinate sponsorships, partnerships and fundraising initiatives for deserving students.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Four to five years of relevant professional experience, preferably in student affairs, university administration or student engagement.

Marketing & Outreach Coordinator

Join our Marketing, Outreach and Special Initiatives Office as a Marketing & Outreach Coordinator.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as the focal person for marketing, outreach, and coordination activities of the assigned BNU school(s), reporting to the Communications & Outreach Manager.
  • Conduct ongoing market research to identify target audiences, competitors, and emerging market trends.
  • Collect and develop marketable content featuring events, academic programmes, faculty, students, alumni, research, and institutional achievements.
  • Coordinate with graphic designers, videographers, digital media executives, faculty, and academic coordinators to produce engaging content for digital and print platforms.
  • Ensure all marketing materials comply with BNU’s branding guidelines and effectively highlight the respective school’s unique strengths and academic offerings.
  • Engage with schools, colleges, community organisations, prospective students, and families through roadshows, information sessions, campus tours, and other outreach activities.
  • Review performance data, gather stakeholder feedback, respond to inquiries professionally, and recommend improvements to marketing and outreach strategies.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Humanities/Social Sciences/Liberal Arts/Management Sciences, preferably majoring in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

Job Overview:
The Manager Career Development and Alumni Relations will be responsible for providing career guidance, fostering alumni engagement, and establishing strong industry connections to support job placements and internships. The incumbent will work closely with students, faculty, alumni, and employers to create meaningful career development opportunities that align with BNU’s diverse academic disciplines.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Project: Digital Mapping of Cultural & Creative Industries and Policy Analysis for the Digital Environment in Pakistan
Duration: 5 months, full-time (contractual, non-renewable)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct desk research and facilitate administer primary surveys.
  • Support Key Informant Interviews and Focus Group Discussions.
  • Contribute to review of national/provincial cultural policies and institutional frameworks relevant to CCIs.
  • Clean, organize, and analyze quantitative and qualitative data; support gap-taxonomy and roadmap development.

Software Engineer – Office of Innovation

Position: Software Engineer

About the Role:

Beaconhouse National University invites applications for the position of Software Engineer in its Office of Innovation. The engineer will lead the development of dashboards and core modules for our Campus Management System (CMS), built on a Laravel backend with a React frontend, and will play a key role in delivering scalable, responsive, and highly interactive tools for the campus community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect and build responsive, highly interactive React dashboards consuming Laravel APIs.
  • Design and extend Laravel backend modules, including Eloquent models, migrations, queues, and role-based access control.
  • Own API contracts between the frontend and backend, ensuring consistency and scalability.
  • Implement real-time features (e.g., Laravel Echo/Reverb with WebSockets) for live dashboards and notifications.
  • Mentor the Associate Developer and support their technical growth.
  • Ensure performance, security, and code quality across the full stack.

Qualification and Experience:
