In recent times, quality in higher education has assumed great significance in the context of “knowledge Society.” We believe that our youth are now global citizens, so it is essential for us to educate them according to international standards. At BNU, we lay special emphasis on factors like quality of faculty, quality of research, plagiarism control, faculty development, leadership and promoting learning environment in order to enable our students to nurture their creative abilities and become active, outstanding members of community, both personally and professionally. Additionally, BNU encourages inter-disciplinary learning in its seven schools where a diverse and committed faculty leads students through radically new approaches to education and life- long learning.
The responsibility of Quality Assurance Cell is to monitor and enhance academic processes, procedures and practices within Schools/ Departments, keeping in view the proposals put forward by the Higher Education Commission.
QEC is responsible to ensure that the university’s quality assurance procedures are designed to fit in with the arrangements in place for maintaining and improving the quality of Higher Education. BNU’s Quality Assurance Cell regularly assesses and reviews the performance of academic programs in the university based on the national and international parameters of quality and excellence in teaching and research. The QEC works with all the schools, departments, administration and management to establish and ensure high quality in all BS, Masters, M. Phil and PhD programs offered at BNU.

The Quality Assurance Department organized an Outcome-Based Education (OBE) training for the faculty of SMC on 08th June 2024. The resource person for the training was Dr. Naveed Ahmed, Deputy Director, National College of Arts (NCA), Lahore. The purpose of the training was to provide awareness about the practical strategies for implementing OBE practices to enhance academic quality standards.

The resource person for the training was Mr. Asif Saeed Haider, Director of Accreditations and Academic Quality Improvement Cell (AAQIC) at UMT, Lahore. The purpose of the training was to provide awareness about the practical strategies for implementing OBE practices to enhance academic quality standards.

The resource person for the training was Dr. Naveed Ahmed, Deputy Director, National College of Arts (NCA), Lahore. The purpose of the training was to provide awareness about the practical stratifies for implementing OBE practices to enhance academic quality standards.
In line with the guidelines of QAA (HEC) PSG - 2023 framework, QA organized a training workshop on “How to Write Self – Assessment Report (SAR) based on Programme Review for Effectiveness and Enhancement (PREE) Standards”. The workshop was conducted by Mr. Muddassar Javed, Manager QA for the Program Teams of all BNU Schools on April 29th, 2025.
The purpose of the workshop was to guide faculty members on preparing the Self-Assessment Report (SAR) as per new PREE standards. The session proved very fruitful as it brought clarity in the concepts of program teams to their satisfaction.
Beaconhouse National University successfully conducted its Post Graduate Program Review (PGPR) for the academic year 2024–25 on Thursday, 27th March 2025. This rigorous review covered seven MS/M.Phil. degree programs, demonstrating the university’s strong commitment to maintaining and enhancing the quality of its postgraduate offerings.
The external reviewers were Mr. Asim Azhar, Director of the Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) at UCP, Lahore, and Ms. Madeeha Arshad, Team Lead QA at LUMS, Lahore.
The esteemed reviewers lauded the quality standards maintained by the BNU and also shared their valuable insights for further improving quality excellence and aligning the programs with the best national and international practices.
