Promoting Quality Education

In recent times, quality in higher education has assumed great significance in the context of “knowledge Society.” We believe that our youth are now global citizens, so it is essential for us to educate them according to international standards. At BNU, we lay special emphasis on factors like quality of faculty, quality of research, plagiarism control, faculty development, leadership and promoting learning environment in order to enable our students to nurture their creative abilities and become active, outstanding members of community, both personally and professionally. Additionally, BNU encourages inter-disciplinary learning in its seven schools where a diverse and committed faculty leads students through radically new approaches to education and life- long learning.

Functions of Quality Assurance Cell

The responsibility of Quality Assurance Cell is to monitor and enhance academic processes, procedures and practices within Schools/ Departments, keeping in view the proposals put forward by the Higher Education Commission.

QEC is responsible to ensure that the university’s quality assurance procedures are designed to fit in with the arrangements in place for maintaining and improving the quality of Higher Education. BNU’s Quality Assurance Cell regularly assesses and reviews the performance of academic programs in the university based on the national and international parameters of quality and excellence in teaching and research.
