Listed below are details of the twin-sharing boarding facilities available for students at BNU. Boarding rooms are equipped with a bed, desk, chair, wall mirror, wardrobe/closet, light, and an electricity port outlet. Please note that students are NOT allowed to nail or use screws for hanging items.

*Note: Students are responsible for the cleanliness of their rooms, with hostel administration conducting weekly checks over weekends. Additionally, all student residents should bring their own bedding basics such as bed linens, pillows, pillow covers, and comforters. For those in need, the university offers a bedding set including a pillow with cover and bed linen for Rs. 8,200.
- Cafeteria Facilities:
Students will be provided 3 healthy meals per day (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) inclusive in the 2-week summer program at designated times. The meals will be pre-decided and the daily menu will be shared/displayed at the cafeteria. In addition, the cafeteria has a tuck shop for routine purchasable items which the students can purchase from.
- Campus Facilities:
- Common Room
Each residential facility features common rooms with large-screen TVs and comfortable seating. All common rooms are air-conditioned. Students should keep in mind the following rules:
- Timings: Until 11:00 pm.
- Residents are only allowed to sleep in the lounges during the summer months.
- Personal belongings should not be left unattended in the common spaces.
- The University cannot be held responsible in case of loss of personal property.
- Edibles (Food and Drinks) are not allowed in the common room.
- Health Centre
BNU offers a primary care facility to its students, faculty, and staff through its on- campus Health Centre supported by Chughtai Homecare. The Clinic provides services of regular checkups and basic medical screening to our faculty, staff, and students. The Clinic is manned by an on-duty Doctor during the university’s operational hours and round-the-clock availability of trained paramedics and nursing staff.
Note: Students may only bring prescribed medication along with the prescription.
- Pantry
Pantries are located on every floor and are equipped with a refrigerator, water cooler, microwave oven, toaster, and iron. Please remember that these are for the use of all building residents. Common courtesy requires that each user cleans up after using the facility.
- Library
BNU has a state-of-the-art library to serve the faculty, students, and researchers. Students will have full access to the library, which has an extensive collection of printed and electronic books, electronic journals, magazines, catalogs, and various other resources.
- Resource Centre
The on-campus Resource Centre caters to students’ requirements for printing, stationary and photocopying services, etc.
- IT Resource Centre
The IT Resource Centre at BNU offers top-of-the-line IT services to facilitate students, faculty, and staff at the campus, including state-of-the-art, high-speed computer labs with more than 300 kiosks to facilitate students, and a digital library.
- Sports
The Sports Department at BNU offers a wide range of fully equipped sports facilities including:
- Football Ground
- Cricket Ground
- Pitches for cricket net practice
- Basketball court
- Volleyball court (Grass court)
- Outdoor badminton courts (Grass courts)
- Table tennis tables
- Laundry:
Laundry services will be provided to all students and the residents will be responsible for collecting from and dropping laundry to the laundry room located in the designated residential area. Laundry services are available twice a week on specific days as specified in their orientation pack.
Please note that laundry cannot be hung out to dry on the balconies.
- Visitation:
Students are advised to strictly observe the curfew hours. No hostel resident student is allowed to stay out of the hostel after 11:00 pm or the time notified otherwise.
If a student wishes to have visitors, written permission from the parent(s) should be submitted to the Hostel Warden at least a day in advance. After approval, students will be allowed to meet the visitor for one hour on campus.
