The Department of Liberal Arts at the Seeta Majeed School of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences (SMSLASS), Beaconhouse National University, hosted an engaging talk with Mr. Ahmed Bilal Mehboob, Founder of PILDAT and columnist for Dawn, on “Constitution and Politics in Pakistan: Problems, Challenges, and the Path to Democratic Solutions.” The event provided an enriching platform for students to explore key issues shaping Pakistan’s democratic landscape.

On October 22, 2024, the Seeta Majeed School of Liberal Arts & Social Sciences (SLASS) at BNU held a successful book launch event and panel discussion for Prof. Dr. Tahir Kamran's new work, Chequered Past, Uncertain Future: The History of Pakistan. The event highlighted Dr. Kamran’s insightful exploration of Pakistan’s historical complexities and future trajectories.

We are proud to announce that one of our esteemed students, Mirza Sikander Saeed Baig, attended the American Independence Day ceremony at the U.S. Ambassador’s residence on July 4th. As the sole intern in the Executive Department, he had the distinct honor of meeting with Ambassador Donald Bloom and Consulate General Cristine Hawkins.
