Maryam’s path toward becoming a leading Pakistani psychologist in the UK began with a strong academic foundation. A high achiever throughout her studies, she earned her BS in Applied Psychology and her MS in Clinical and Counselling Psychology at BNU, graduating with top honours and maintaining a consistent place on the Dean’s Honour List.
This rigorous training laid the groundwork for her advanced studies abroad, where she went on to complete a Professional Doctorate (PsychD) in Counselling Psychology.
Following her studies, Maryam transitioned into the international professional arena, meeting the exacting standards required for global practice. She is currently a registered Practitioner Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) in the UK.
Her professional growth is most evident in her role at the Birmingham & Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust, where she delivers high-quality, evidence-based care.
