The event was led by Ms. Naureen Zaman (Assistant Professor), with contributions from Ms. Arumah David (Lecturer) and Ms. Mahtab Alvi (Visiting Faculty). Chief Guest Dr. Aman-Ullah, Senior Advisor for Punjab SDGs at UNDP, and Guest of Honour Mr. Sarim Mehmood, Founder & CEO of Fruit of Sustainability (SMC-Pvt) Ltd., offered insightful feedback and encouragement.

Projects showcased a wide spectrum of social innovation and community service, including sewing machine donations, access to clean drinking water, digital literacy workshops, mental health support applications, recycling initiatives, and advocacy against inequality, harassment, and climate degradation. Students demonstrated how localized action can contribute to global sustainability objectives.

Integrated into the Expository Writing course, these projects strengthened students’ analytical, research, and academic communication skills while addressing pressing societal needs. The initiative illustrated the power of interdisciplinary education in shaping socially responsible, critically aware, and action-oriented youth.

The display stood as a compelling testament to education’s role in advancing the UN SDGs and fostering a spirit of leadership among young learners. By connecting classrooms to communities, BNU continues to nurture future change-makers committed to building a more equitable and sustainable world.
