As part of the SMC Talks series, the School of Media and Mass Communication at BNU hosted an immersive workshop titled Sonic Narratives — Sound Design and Scoring for Film and Digital Medium. UK-based music producer and composer Mr. Rohail Javed shared his expertise, guiding students on how sound shapes emotion, narrative, and cinematic storytelling.
During the session, students explored creative and technical aspects of sound design, composition, and scoring for film and digital media. Mr. Rohail demonstrated how audio elements can enhance mood, character, and story arcs, giving students hands-on insight into the practical and artistic possibilities of sound in media production.
SMC BNU continues to connect students with global industry professionals, fostering experiential learning and inspiring future media creators to innovate through sound and storytelling in both traditional and digital formats.
