The orientation opened with a warm welcome from Professor Dr. Bushra Hameed-ur-Rahman, Dean SMC, who introduced students to the School’s vision, mission, and academic journey. Heads of Departments and faculty members followed with insights into their respective disciplines, while a student shared her international exchange experience, highlighting the diverse opportunities available to students at BNU.
The day continued with interactive activities across the School, including open-mic conversations, creative introductions, and immersive media exploration. Journalism & Mass Communication students took the mic, Immersive Media students explored the Immersive Media Lab, and Theatre, Film & TV students connected through creative activities. The orientation marked the beginning of an exciting new chapter for the Class of 2030, as they joined a community committed to learning, creating, exploring, and telling stories that matter.
