Conceived by the Razia Hassan School of Architecture and funded by OGDC, the GEC is a regenerative and sustainable green architecture project. It puts low-impact construction methods, circular material flows, and fine craftsmanship into practice as a living laboratory for learning, reflection, and collective exchange.
The event concluded with the unveiling of a commemorative plaque and a guided walkthrough of the facility.
Attendees included Mrs. Nasreen Mahmud Kasuri, Mr. Nayyar Ali Dada, Pervez and Razia Hassan, along with senior architects, corporate executives, and government officials.
The Center supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals—specifically SDGs 4, 8, 9, 11, 12, 13, and 17—aiming to spark critical discussion on regenerative architecture, planetary stewardship, and a low-emission future.
