Beaconhouse National University (BNU) signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding with Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan on June 19, 2026, launching the “Rebuilding Gaza through Education” initiative. The partnership aims to support displaced students through education access, psychosocial care, and campus integration, reinforcing both institutions’ commitment to humanitarian response and higher education.
The MoU formalizes a shared commitment to providing holistic support for affected students, ensuring they are able to continue their academic journeys in a safe and enabling environment. Key areas of focus include academic continuity, mental health support, and structured integration into university life.
The agreement was signed by BNU Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Moeed W. Yusuf, and Dr. Saad Zafar of Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan. Their leadership reflects a shared vision of leveraging education as a powerful tool for resilience and recovery.
Through this collaboration, both institutions aim to strengthen educational access for vulnerable communities while highlighting the role of higher education in global humanitarian efforts.
