Suhaib Asif is a dedicated architect and academic, currently serving as a Lecturer at the Razia Hassan School of Architecture, Beaconhouse National University. A graduate of the National College of Arts, Lahore, he completed his Bachelor of Architecture in 2022 with distinction, achieving the highest thesis year grade. Prior to joining BNU, Suhaib worked at Imtiaz Ali Associates, where he led diverse architectural projects from concept development to design execution. He developed contextual and climate-responsive solutions, translating vernacular forms into modern, site-specific architecture. His work emphasized environmental sensitivity, including solar rights optimization and passive design strategies. His approach integrates form-making with empirical datasets, shaping architecture that is both intuitive and data-informed. Suhaib also has experience as a guest lecturer and has contributed to architectural education by presenting his thesis work and delivering lectures on design methodologies at the National College of Arts.
Beyond academia and professional practice, Suhaib is deeply engaged in social and literary initiatives. He co-founded Sukhan, the first literary society at NCA, organizing guest lectures and discussions to cultivate cultural and intellectual discourse. He has actively volunteered with the Aabroo Welfare Trust and Hope, supporting educational and humanitarian causes. Suhaib’s multifaceted background—as a designer, educator, and socially conscious individual—positions him as an emerging voice in architectural practice and education in Pakistan..
