Rabia Malik is a dedicated hospitality lecturer with over eight years of teaching and industry experience in Canada and Pakistan. She specializes in hotel and resort management, curriculum development, and student mentorship. With advanced degrees and global certifications, she integrates academic knowledge with real-world insights to enrich student learning at BNU.
Rabia Malik is a seasoned academic in the field of hospitality and tourism management, bringing over eight years of teaching experience to her role at Beaconhouse National University. With a strong foundation in hotel and resort management, she is deeply committed to shaping future professionals through a balance of academic rigor and real-world application. Since joining BNU in 2025 as a lecturer in the Department of Hospitality Management, she has been actively involved in delivering dynamic lectures, designing interactive learning modules, and mentoring students to thrive in the global hospitality landscape.
Her academic journey includes prior appointments at The Islamia University of Bahawalpur, where she served as a visiting lecturer from 2020 to 2024. There, she developed and delivered comprehensive course content, facilitated group discussions, and implemented diverse assessment techniques to evaluate student performance effectively. Rabia has also taught at the College of Tourism and Hotel Management (COTHM), where she played a pivotal role in student advising and fostering an engaging learning environment.
Complementing her academic credentials is hands-on industry experience in Canada, having worked with reputed hospitality establishments such as Monte Carlo Inn and the Intercontinental Yorkville in roles that enhanced her operational and customer service expertise. These international exposures inform her teaching style, allowing her to bridge the gap between classroom learning and industry demands.
Rabia holds an MS in Management from the University of Management and Technology, a diploma in Hospitality Management from Centennial College, Toronto, and an MBA in Human Resource Management from The Islamia University of Bahawalpur. She has further strengthened her teaching and analytical capabilities through certifications in Google Data Analytics, Project Management, and Excel for Business. Her holistic approach to education, combined with a strong passion for student development and industry collaboration, makes her an asset to BNU’s academic community.
