Rabia Khawar Malik is a writer, researcher, and educator serving as Adjunct Faculty at the Seeta Majeed School of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences (SMSLASS), Beaconhouse National University (BNU), Lahore. A recipient of the prestigious Fulbright Scholarship, she specializes in creative writing, Anglophone literature, and fiction studies.
Rabia holds an MFA in Writing from Sarah Lawrence College, New York, where she maintained a 4.0 GPA, and a BA (Hons) in Social Sciences with a major in Liberal Studies from BNU. Her undergraduate thesis, titled “Volume: Raising the female voice,” explored Pakistani Anglophone literature through a feminist lens and earned departmental distinction alongside the Mustafa Izuddin Graduate Prize.
Her literary work and public commentary have appeared in numerous esteemed publications, including The Adroit Journal, The Aleph Review, The News on Sunday (Shehr), Risala Magazine, and RIC Journal. In addition to her academic role at BNU, she serves as Co-Editor for the "Chowk" column at Lakeer Magazine and has extensive experience conducting creative writing workshops, college counseling research, and fiction reading for literary journals like Lumina Journal.
