Amber Razzaq is a Lab Engineer at the School of Computer & Information Technology (SCIT), Beaconhouse National University (BNU), where she specializes in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, and Web Development. She holds a BSc (Honours) in Computer Science from BNU, earning a place on the Dean’s Honor List and receiving merit-based scholarships for academic excellence. Her coursework and projects span deep learning, neural networks, cybersecurity, and web system development, providing a strong foundation in both theoretical and applied computing.
At BNU, Amber has served as a Teaching Assistant for courses including AI, Software Engineering, and Applied Physics, guiding students through labs, tutorials, and programming challenges. She has also contributed as an AI Researcher at SCIT CAIR, applying machine learning models to public health and environmental data, and worked on front-end development for web applications using React and Angular. Her experience emphasizes hands-on problem solving, research-driven projects, and innovative applications of emerging technologies.
Amber’s research and projects reflect her commitment to impactful technology solutions. She has presented her study on predicting malaria outbreaks in Nigeria at IGARSS 2025 using Earth observation data and advanced AI models. She has also developed virtual try-on systems, social media platforms, and other AI-driven applications. Actively involved in leadership roles, including Sci-Tech Society and Women in Tech, Amber combines technical expertise with community engagement, promoting innovation, inclusivity, and technology education.
