Anas Bin Tariq serves as Adjunct Faculty at BNU’s Seeta Majeed School of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences. A UMT Ph.D. candidate and multi-year Best Teacher Award recipient, he specializes in maritime security, non-traditional threats, and South Asian geopolitics, bringing extensive higher education teaching and research expertise to BNU.
Anas Bin Tariq is a researcher, academic, and educator serving as Adjunct Faculty at the Seeta Majeed School of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences (SLASS), Beaconhouse National University (BNU), Lahore. He is also a Lecturer in the Department of International Relations and a Research Associate at the Centre of Research and Innovation in Maritime Affairs (CRIMA) at Minhaj University Lahore.
Anas is currently pursuing his PhD in International Relations at the University of Management and Technology (UMT), Lahore, where he previously earned his M.Phil. in International Relations with a focus on Indian strategic designs in South Asia. A recipient of back-to-back Best Teacher’s Awards (2022 & 2023) at Lahore Garrison University, he brings extensive teaching, administrative, and curriculum design experience across higher education institutions in Pakistan.
His core research interests include maritime security, non-traditional security threats, the nuclearization of South Asia, geopolitical power dynamics in the Middle East and Indian Ocean, and postcolonial political thought. Anas has published widely in indexed journals and regularly contributes research to national defense and international strategy conferences, including presentations at the Pakistan Navy War College.
