Dr. Tariq Rahman, Professor Emeritus at BNU, served as Dean of Education (2013–2024). Holder of two doctorates from Sheffield, he’s authored 10 books and 100+ articles. A celebrated scholar, he has received the Sitara-i-Imtiaz, Pride of Performance, Humboldt Award, and serves as HEC Distinguished National Professor and global academic affiliate.
Dr. Tariq Rahman, Professor Emeritus at Beaconhouse National University, served as the Dean of the School of Education from 2013 to 2024. He holds two doctoral degrees from the University of Sheffield, including a Doctor of Letters (D.Litt). A prolific scholar, he is the author of 10 books, over 100 research articles, and numerous book reviews. Many of his publications have received awards from various academic and literary bodies.
Dr. Rahman is the recipient of several prestigious honors, including the Humboldt Research Award, the Sitara-i-Imtiaz, the Pride of Performance, and a Lifetime Achievement Award. He is also recognized as an HEC Distinguished National Professor and serves as Professor Emeritus at the National Institute of Pakistan. Over the course of his career, he has been affiliated with several leading universities in Europe and North America.
