Shamweel Qamar is an Assistant Professor at SCIT, Beaconhouse National University, Lahore. He has over six years’ experience in blockchain-based medical data systems and four years in AI-driven biomedical imaging. Formerly a Senior Researcher in South Korea, his work focuses on secure healthcare, computational pathology, and blockchain-enabled medical systems.
Shamweel Qamar is an Assistant Professor at the School of Computer & Information Technology (SCIT), Beaconhouse National University (BNU), Lahore. Prior to joining BNU, he worked as a Senior Researcher in the Department of Research and Development in the Republic of Korea.
He brings over six years of experience in secure blockchain-based medical data systems and more than four years of expertise in biomedical image analysis using artificial intelligence techniques. His research focuses on applying AI and blockchain technologies—particularly Ethereum and Solidity—for secure medical data distribution and intelligent healthcare systems.
He has hands-on experience working in PACS and EMR environments and has published research in reputable international journals. His professional interests include blockchain-enabled healthcare applications, biomedical image analysis, computational pathology, and AI-driven medical systems.
