Dr. Maheen Abid is a clinical psychologist with over a decade of experience in teaching and counseling. Specializing in marital counseling, relationship therapy, and mental health, she works with individuals, couples, and families. Bio

Dr. Maheen Abid is a distinguished Assistant Professor and Consultant Clinical Psychologist at the Institute of Psychology, Beaconhouse National University (BNU). With over a decade of experience in both teaching and counseling, she has established herself as a dedicated educator and compassionate counselor. Dr. Abid has had the privilege of working at prestigious institutions, where she has taught graduate and post-graduate students, contributing significantly to the academic growth of aspiring psychologists. Her areas of expertise are vast, encompassing relationship counseling, family therapy, personality psychology, social psychology, clinical and counseling psychology, adult psychopathology, research methods, psychometric testing, and ethics in psychology. These diverse interests allow her to provide comprehensive academic guidance and clinical insights to students and clients alike.

Dr. Abid holds a Ph.D. in the specialized field of marital counseling, with a focus on marital satisfaction. Her research and clinical work primarily revolve around improving relationships and promoting mental well-being. She is well-versed in working with adolescents and young adults facing mental health challenges, including mood and anxiety disorders, relationship issues, and adjustment difficulties.
