The School of Education invited Ms. Fatima Jahandad, an experienced STEAM educationist and Ed-Tech Trainer, currently serving as Manager Educational Technologies at Bahria Town School and College, to engage students and faculty in a session titled “Preparing Teachers to Teach Gen Z and Gen Alpha.” She discussed the needs, mindsets, attitudes, and skills of these generations, emphasizing the importance of understanding their unique characteristics for educators.
Ms. Fatima highlighted the necessity for educators to remain lifelong learners and adopt flexible teaching strategies. The session focused on inclusive learning practices that foster a sense of belonging among students and highlighted the crucial role teachers play in actively engaging learners. By adopting these strategies, educators can better connect with Gen Z and Gen Alpha, fostering a more effective and engaging learning environment.
