The School of Education (SE) at Beaconhouse National University welcomed distinguished academics, including Dr. Meng Tian from the University of Birmingham, Dr. Ijaz Ahmad Tatlah from the University of Education, Lahore, and Dr. Naima Qureshi from the University of Lahore, for a productive exchange of ideas and initiatives on November 19, 2024.
The meeting focused on fostering collaboration between BNU and the University of Birmingham. Key agenda items included organizing joint conferences, online seminars, and incorporating guest lectures into the curriculum. Discussions also revolved around introducing SE students to Birmingham’s PhD in Education program, with a webinar planned to provide insights into courses, fees, and application processes. This initiative marks a significant step towards enhancing academic partnerships and creating opportunities for students and faculty to engage in global academic discourse and collaborative learning experiences.
