CEO Summit: Day 3 - Financial and Change Management, and Strategic Planning

Day 3 of the CEO Summit, “Building Capacity - Embracing Change,” was dedicated to empowering CEOs with crucial skills in financial management, strategic planning, and fostering wellbeing within schools. The sessions focused on enhancing operational efficiency and equipping leaders to address evolving challenges in the education sector effectively.

The day commenced with a detailed session on financial planning and management by Dr. Shazia Humayun, Assistant Professor and Head of EDx. CEOs were guided through budget preparation, fund re-appropriation, and frameworks like The Punjab Delegation of Financial Powers Rules, along with strategies for managing development and non-development budgets. Following this, Dr. Farhat Jamil, Professor at the Institute of Psychology, BNU, delivered an insightful session on establishing wellbeing spaces in schools to support mental health and emotional resilience among students and staff. Ms. Ada Jaffery, a Strategic Consultant, provided actionable strategies on conducting market and competitor analysis to boost student enrollment, while Ms. Naureen Zaman, Assistant Professor SE, explored practical approaches to change management in educational settings. The day concluded with a cultural visit to the Walled City of Lahore and a dinner at the historic Lahore Fort, offering participants a unique blend of heritage, culture, and networking opportunities in a memorable setting.
