CEO Summit: Day 2 - Legal Frameworks, Leadership & Crisis Management

Day 2 of the CEO Summit, “Building Capacity - Embracing Change,” focused on equipping CEOs with critical knowledge of legal frameworks, strategic planning, and leadership skills necessary for effective governance in Punjab’s public education system. The sessions offered practical strategies to enhance decision-making, manage conflicts, and drive professional growth among district leaders.

The day opened with a detailed session by Dr. Shazia Humayun, Assistant Professor and Head of EDx, on legal and administrative frameworks in the School Education Department, Punjab. Participants gained insights into managing litigation, preparing para-wise comments, and understanding service rules from 2014 and 1989. This was followed by an engaging session by Ms. Masooma Ali, Business Development Officer at HR Consultant Pvt. Ltd., focusing on establishing placement offices to connect education with career opportunities for students. Later, Dr. Shazia Humayun conducted an impactful session on fostering a growth mindset, crisis management, and conflict resolution, providing CEOs with tools to handle challenges effectively. The day concluded with an inspiring session by Dr. Amra Raza, Dean of the School of Education, BNU, emphasizing the significance of visionary, instructional, and ethical leadership in transforming the education sector. These discussions underscored the importance of holistic leadership in addressing modern educational challenges.
