Through regenerative landscaping and nature-based solutions, BNU’s bamboo plantation project exemplifies its dedication to carbon sequestration, ecological resilience, and sustainable material education. This living green infrastructure supports both environmental stewardship and climate-conscious design pedagogy.
In collaboration with Parco Gunvor Limited, BNU has planted bamboo along a 687-feet stretch of its campus boundary wall. As a renewable, fast-growing material with low carbon impact, bamboo offers students hands- on learning in sustainable design and construction. This initiative supports BNU’s carbon neutrality goals while enhancing climate-responsive education at the School of Architecture.
