BNU proudly hosted the Futsal tournament as part of the Lahore Youth Festival 2024, welcoming 16 teams from top institutions across the city. The three-day event, held from October 22 to October 24, 2024, brought together skilled athletes from GCU, FCCU, LSE, UCL, LCWU, Fazaia College, UOL, COMSATS, LEADS, Hailey College, PU, UMT, AIMC, Bahria University, Riphah International University, and BNU.
The tournament was inaugurated by Vice Chancellor Dr. Moeed W. Yusuf, setting the stage for an electrifying competition. Teams displayed exceptional skill, strategy, and teamwork, captivating audiences with fast-paced matches and thrilling finishes. The atmosphere at BNU was electric as players gave their all, demonstrating sheer determination and sportsmanship. After three intense days of competition, the Lahore School of Economics (LSE) boys' team and University of Lahore (UOL) girls' team emerged as champions, showcasing their dominance on the field. FCCU boys' team and LCWU girls' team secured the runner-up positions, adding to the excitement of the event. By hosting this prestigious tournament, BNU reaffirmed its commitment to promoting sports and fostering a culture of healthy competition, further solidifying its reputation as a hub for athletic excellence.
