Recognizing the environmental health emergency posed by lead exposure, BNU and The Lord Sarfraz
Foundation engaged students from across Pakistan to propose scientifically grounded solutions targeting
industrial contamination, informal recycling, and unsafe consumer practices. The competition addressed SDGs
3, 6, 11, and 12, reinforcing BNU’s role in translating academic excellence into real-world environmental
impact. Through this initiative, BNU positioned itself as a convener of interdisciplinary dialogue and a catalyst
for community-focused health interventions in vulnerable regions.
