The BNU Center for Policy Research (BCPR), in collaboration with the Understanding China Forum (UCF), successfully hosted a Round Table Seminar commemorating the 80th Anniversary of the End of World War II and the Chinese People’s Victory Against Fascism. The event gathered diplomats, scholars, and students for meaningful reflection and exchange.
The seminar explored the historical and contemporary relevance of this decisive victory, emphasizing enduring lessons of peace, resilience, and cooperation. Panelists underscored the importance of understanding shared histories in fostering mutual respect and international collaboration, while also addressing the pressing need for global unity in navigating today’s complex challenges. BNU expresses its deep gratitude to the Chief Guest, Mr. Cao Ke, Acting Consul General of the People’s Republic of China in Lahore, along with all distinguished panelists and participants.
