Beaconhouse National University (BNU) had the honor of welcoming a delegation from the Embassy of Japan in Pakistan on September 24, 2024, led by H.E. Mr. Wada Mitsuhiro, Ambassador of Japan, and Ms. Natsuki Kawamura, Second Secretary. Accompanying the delegation was Mr. Aamir H. Shirazi, President of the Atlas Group, Pakistan.
The delegation was received by Vice Chancellor Dr. Moeed Yusuf, alongside Dr. Zainab Ahmed from the Seeta Majeed School of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences, Ambassador (retd) Mansoor Ahmad Khan, Director of BNU Center for Policy Research, Mr. Zaeem Yaqoob Khan, Executive Director of Student Affairs and External Relations, and other senior faculty members. Dr. Moeed Yusuf shared BNU’s vision and achievements, emphasizing the university's commitment to global engagement. Discussions focused on fostering partnerships with Japanese universities, student exchange programs, and exploring grant opportunities through the Japanese Embassy. The delegation also interacted with final-year Liberal Arts students, creating prospects for enriching academic and cultural exchanges.
