On November 11, 2025, the School of Computer and Information Technology (SCIT) hosted a guest session with Mr. Shahbaz Ali, Founding Member of the Pakistan IT Forum (PITF) and a leading Digital Transformation Leader. On November 4, 2025, as part of the Tech Talk Series, the School of Computer and Information Technology (SCIT) hosted an insightful session on “Technology Entrepreneurship” led by Mr. Zafar Iqbal, CTO and Director at Symtera Technologies Pvt. Ltd. Fall 2025 students explored innovation, startup ecosystems, and the role of technology in creating impactful business solutions.

On November 1, 2025, at LUMS, three final-year SCIT students from Beaconhouse National University secured third place at the National Artificial Intelligence Championship, winning PKR 100,000 for Shopiq, an innovative AI and computer-vision project on personalized in-mall advertising, supervised by Mr. Syed Nouman, through rigorous research, interdisciplinary design, and deployment.

On October 30, 2025, Malaika Nasir from the School of Computer & IT, Batch 2023, won two prizes at Kinnaird Business Fest 2.0 in Lahore, excelling against 15 teams from leading universities through inventive strategy, rapid execution, and persuasive visual storytelling under intense time pressure and competitive, interdisciplinary evaluation criteria.

On October 28, 2025, the Career Development Center organized an exclusive career counseling session with Crewlogix Technologies for final-year SCIT students at Beaconhouse National University, offering strategic perspectives on evolving market dynamics, emerging technology-driven roles, and essential professional skills required for confident, informed, and successful transitions into competitive industry environments.

On October 17, 2025, the LUMS Centre for Entrepreneurship hosted an incisive session on cyber resilience, led by Mr. Nabeel Ahsan, Senior Lecturer at BNU’s School of Computer and IT. He outlined how startups can anticipate, withstand, and recover from cyber incidents through strategic preparedness and adaptive response.

The School of Computer & IT (SCIT) at Beaconhouse National University successfully hosted the SCIT Projects Showcase 2025 on May 30 and 31 at the SLASS Block, BNU Tarogil Campus. This flagship event celebrated the creativity and technical excellence of final-year students as they presented innovative projects across emerging technology domains.

On April 21, 2025, the Pintech Expo convened leading academic talent from across Punjab, celebrating innovation, research excellence, and creative inquiry in higher education. On February 14, 2025, the Center for AI Research (CAIR) team from the School of Computer & IT, Beaconhouse National University, presented at ACARI 2025, contributing scholarly insights to the 2nd Asia–Middle East–Africa Conference on Academic and Research Integrity, held from February 13–15, 2025, with strong regional academic participation and engagement.

Beaconhouse National University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Shalamar Institute of Health Sciences to advance interdisciplinary research in healthcare and technology, focusing on the early detection and prognosis of diabetic retinopathy.
