Natash Ali Mian, Associate Professor at BNU’s School of Computer & Information Technology, has 16+ years of teaching and research experience. Specializing in software engineering, formal methods, databases, and quality assurance, he has taught extensively, supervised theses, reviewed journals, and held positions at multiple Pakistani universities since 2012.
Natash Ali Mian is an Associate Professor at the School of Computer & Information Technology, Beaconhouse National University (BNU), Lahore. He has been a part of BNU’s faculty since 2012 and brings over 16 years of teaching and research experience across multiple academic institutions. He has taught a diverse range of undergraduate courses, including Software Requirement Engineering, Software Quality Engineering, Database Management Systems, Software Validation & Verification, Formal Methods in Software Engineering, Advanced Database Management Systems, Human-Computer Interaction, Software Design & Architecture, ERP Systems, Operating Systems, Data Mining & Warehousing, and Business Research Methods.
His areas of expertise include software engineering, formal methods, database reverse engineering, and software quality assurance. Prior to his current role at BNU, he held teaching and research positions at The University of Lahore, University of Central Punjab, Federal Urdu University of Arts, Science & Technology, SZABIST Islamabad, Pakistan College of Science & Technology, and Pakistan International College.
In addition to teaching, he has served as an external examiner and thesis supervisor for BS and MS programs at several universities, including Lahore Garrison University, FC College Lahore, Abdul Wali Khan University, and University of Agriculture Faisalabad. He is also a reviewer for the Lahore Garrison University Research Journal of Computer Science and Information Technology (LGURJCSIT).
