Roundtable on Pak-US Trade, Economy, and Investment Opportunities

The first Roundtable on "Exploring Opportunities for Pakistan-US Engagement in Trade, Economy, and Investments" was convened at Beaconhouse National University (BNU). The event facilitated a dynamic discussion among distinguished guests, including executives from leading companies in Pakistan with business ties to the US, heads of influential organizations such as the Pakistan-US Business Council and the American Business Forum, and academic experts specializing in Pakistan-US relations, particularly in trade and economy. Notably, Michael Kugelman, Director for South Asia at the Washington-based Wilson Center, participated virtually in the event, adding valuable insights to the dialogue. Participants engaged in thought-provoking exchanges, sharing perspectives on how Pakistan and the US can bolster their trade relations and explore new avenues for cooperation. Key sectors discussed included IT, tourism, and agriculture, with a focus on mitigating the effects of climate change and enhancing food security through collaborative efforts.
