Komal Bukhari, a distinguished graduate of the School of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences (SLASS) with a BA (Hons) in Social Sciences and Major in Liberal Studies from the Batch of 2021, secured a coveted spot in a fully funded Master of Fine Arts (MFA) program in Creative Writing with a focus on poetry in the United States. Komal's journey from SLASS to her current pursuit of a fully funded MFA Creative Writing program is a testament to her dedication and passion. After a successful academic tenure at BNU, she embarked on the path of self-discovery and creative exploration. Komal's resolute commitment to her artistic aspirations led her to the MFA program, where she is one of only four writers chosen from a global pool of more than 300 applicants. Reflecting on her formative years at BNU, Komal expressed her gratitude for the education and guidance she received.
