Hafsa Tahir, a BNU Software Engineering BSc. Honors graduate, has become a leading figure in sports technology. As founder and CEO of Agit and CTO of Founders Bay, she has transformed fitness through AI, inspiring innovation and leadership in the tech industry with her groundbreaking ventures.

From Beaconhouse National University’s Software Engineering BSc. Honors program to the cutting edge of sports technology, Hafsa Tahir has carved a niche in the entrepreneurial world that many aspire to but few achieve. As the founder and CEO of Agit, and the CTO of Founders Bay, her journey is a beacon for innovation and leadership in the tech industry. After graduating in 2016, Hafsa swiftly moved to establish her first venture, UShapeUP, an online platform offering fitness training programs. She secured an incubation spot at National Incubation Center (NIC), Lahore at the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS). Her role involved everything from supervising a multidisciplinary team of fitness trainers, developers, and nutritionists, to overseeing the brand’s online marketing strategy. This initial foray set the stage for her future endeavors, embedding a strong foundation in leadership and operational management. Recognizing the need to deepen her technical expertise, Hafsa pursued a Master’s in Computer Science from Marshall University, WV, USA. Hafsa also held various technical roles in established tech firms, where she honed her skills in software development, project management, and strategic planning. These experiences provided her with invaluable industry insights and a robust network of professional contacts. In January 2023, Hafsa launched Agit, in SF, USA, a pioneering AI sports tech startup aimed at making fitness more accessible globally. Agit collaborates with top influencers worldwide to harness the power of AI, enhancing how people train and maintain their fitness regimes. Under Hafsa's leadership, Agit is shaping up to be a game-changer in how technology integrates with personal health and wellness. As CTO of Founders Bay, SF, USA, since December 2023, Hafsa has been instrumental in steering the incubator’s vision of fostering AI-powered startups. Founders Bay, a women-owned and operated venture studio, is dedicated to increasing the funding directed towards women-led startups. The incubator supports a diverse array of companies, such as AUR+A, Flutter Love, Flutter Connect, Connect4Healing, and Inno-aut, showcasing its commitment to innovative solutions across various sectors.
