Hailing from Hunza, Wafee's decision to relocate to Lahore proved to be a pivotal moment in her academic and personal growth, providing her with exposure to ethnically and linguistically diverse communities. Her undergraduate studies at FCCU laid the groundwork for her academic journey, culminating in her enrollment at BNU, where she found a nurturing environment conducive to scholarly inquiry and intellectual exploration.
