Dr. Iftikhar Hussain has recently joined School of Computer and IT as Assistant Professor. He obtained his PhD from Hasselt University, Belgium and was awarded Scholarship by Higher Education Commission, Pakistan to pursue his PhD study. He conducted his PhD research in the area of agent-based modeling and developed a simulation system for several carpooling applications using dedicated modeling and simulation methodology (CRIO meta-model). His research has been published in International Journals and Conferences.
His research interests include organizational-based modeling, multi-agents in transportation, modeling interaction and negotiation, machine learning, and matching algorithms.
